There are some
tools that I got from my labmate. These are pretty handy online tools in
bioinformatics.
ExPASy
Great analysis
portal includes phylogeny, structural analysis, graphical tools et al. The one
I used is a small translation tool which shows all the open reading frames of
the input nucleotide sequence.
Ensembl
This is a visual tool based on NCBI genome database and
BLAST. You can use it as blast. It shows the gene loci on the
certain chromosomes of certain organism, based on your input sequence.
